Game Rooms

Once you join a game, you get a Game Room: your table's own chat space, separate from the booking conversation.

Privacy​

Game Room chat works entirely through your Orb account. You never need to hand over a phone number, email, or any other personal details the way other messaging apps often require to connect with someone new.

When is a Game Room created?​

A Game Room is created automatically, no setup needed. You're added to the room when the GM confirms your booking.

Who's in the room?​

  • The Game Master, as the room owner
  • All active players added to the game

If the GM removes you from the game, you lose access to the room.

Game Info Message​

The Game Info Message is an optional note a GM can attach to their game. If set, it appears pinned in the room's topic bar, visible to everyone at all times.

What to use it for​

  • House rules or table expectations
  • Links to character sheets, campaign documents, or virtual tabletop
  • Session schedule or next session reminder
  • What to prepare before the first session

Editing the message​

You can update the Game Info Message at any time from the Game management page. The change appears immediately in the Game Room for all players.

GM controls​

As the GM, you can:

  • Rename the room
  • Add or remove players (which also controls room access)
  • Navigate to the game management page
