Games

Games are the core of Orb: a Game Master posts a listing, players book a seat, and everyone moves into a shared chat space to play. Here's how the whole flow fits together for both sides of the table.

What You Can Do with Games

🎲 Book a Seat

As a player, you book a seat by chatting directly with the GM! There's no separate booking form. The game stays attached to the conversation as its topic.

📜 Create and Run a Game

As a GM, you create a game listing: a clean, structured page for your game that's easy to share. Edit it anytime, swap the cover image, or pause and reopen bookings without losing your listing.

💬 Game Rooms

Once a booking is confirmed, the GM and players share a dedicated Game Room: the main chat space for that table, carrying over all the game's details. It only needs your Orb account, no phone number or email required. GMs can also pin a permanent note there for house rules, reference links, or session reminders that never scroll out of view.

👥 Managing Players

GMs add players straight from the booking chat, then manage or remove them from the Game Room as needed. Seat counts and Game Room access are updated automatically to match.

⭐ GM Reviews

After playing, players can leave a review for the GM, shown on their public profile to help others decide who to play with.
