Managing Players

A seat is yours to give. Players ask, you decide, and OrbRPG keeps track of who is in: the free seats on your card, and the people in your Game Chat Room.

Your list of players is in "Manage Players", and you can open it from anywhere you see your game.

Giving a seat

Most players come to you through the booking chat. The game card is already at the top of that conversation, so once you agree, you give the seat right there without leaving the chat. See Booking a Seat for the player's side.

Someone you already know does not have to ask first. Add them in "Manage Players" by their OrbRPG username, or paste a link to their profile.

At a convention, players can also join a game's waiting list. You see who is waiting and what they told the organizers, and you seat them in any order you like. See Running a Convention.

When a player leaves

A player you remove loses the Game Chat Room at once, and the seat is free for the next person. Players can also leave on their own, and you are told when they do.

Help from your guild

If your game belongs to a guild, the people who run that guild can give and take seats too. You hear about every change they make, so the table is still yours to follow.

How many seats

The number of seats is part of your listing, and you can change it in the game form at any time. Free seats count down as you seat players and come back when someone leaves.
