Last quarter Virtual Guilds arrived on OrbRPG, the platform for tabletop RPG game masters and players. A guild needs a reason to gather, so this summer we built Guild Events: pick a date, invite your community, watch the seats fill.
Along the way notifications learned to reach your inbox, Guild Posts learned to hold pictures, and the game form stopped hiding what it wants from you. Here is the tour.

This spring, the feature we've been building toward arrived: Virtual Guilds are now available on OrbRPG. It's an early version, still in beta, and we expect it to grow in features over the coming quarters. Alongside it came several things built around guilds, including community noticeboards and guild chat rooms.

As the winter ends, we want to share the progress we made over the last few months. Originally, our big plan for this release was to introduce Virtual Guilds. However, as we started, we realized that to make Guilds a true home for tabletop events, they needed a strong chat system first.
So, we changed our focus. We spent this quarter entirely rebuilding our chat platform to make sure it is ready for Guilds in our next release. Along the way, we added new booking tools and text features to make running games easier than ever.

This quarter we quietly celebrated our 2nd anniversary (time flies when you're rolling dice!), and the team has been hard at work making OrbRPG. From custom game covers to advanced scheduling tools, game masters now have more control than ever to showcase their campaigns and connect with players.
